The netLINK Series Gigabit Fiber Converter facilitates the conversion of Optical-Electric Ethernet signals between 10/100/1000M UTP interface (TX) and 1000M optical fiber interface (FX). This allows the extension of traditional 10/100/1000M gigabit Ethernet over a distance of up to 100km through an optical fiber link. The product boasts excellent performance and quality, attributed to the incorporation of the latest Gigabyte IC technology from both the USA and Taiwan. Six LED indicator lights in separate groups offer comprehensive monitoring of the converters' operational conditions, making it easy for users to observe and diagnose any potential failures.

Fiber connections utilize SC connectors, accommodating speeds of 1000 Mbps with multimode (50/125, 62.5/125μm) or singlemode (8.3/125, 8.7/125, 9/125μm) fiber cables. The maximum distances range from 550/224 meters for multimode to an impressive 100 kilometers for singlemode.
