Hitachi Star FX-79E2
79 Inch Interactive Whiteboard
The software provides the convenience of sharing educational content through support for the Common File Format (CFF) used in interactive whiteboards. It is compatible with different operating systems such as Windows, Mac, and Linux. The user can customize the floating toolbar according to their preferences, and the software also features hand writing recognition and a variety of digital inks. Additionally, notes can be exported to different file formats, and users can easily access the internet and conduct Google image searches. The software also allows the importation of Microsoft Office files, and includes a remote conferencing feature.
A great learning tool that combines simplicity of design and latest interactive technology:
Hitachi has launched the FX-79E2 as their new flagship interactive whiteboard, replacing the FX-Trio. This latest addition in "dual touch" whiteboard technology boasts several advancements, including a new steel surface that is dry erase friendly and can resist everyday dry-erase ink writing. Furthermore, the board is now magnetic, making it more versatile. Despite being slightly larger than its predecessor, the FX-79E1 is now significantly lighter, weighing only 48.5 lbs, down from 66.1 lbs. It is also thinner, approximately half the thickness of the previous model.
Now with USB 2.0 support, this board is powered through the USB cable so you do not have to worry about finding an electrical outlet:
The FX-79E2 interactive whiteboard offers the convenience of multiple device connectivity through USB, and the low surface gloss ensures that images displayed are clear and bright, while also being easy on the eyes. The board has frequently used function buttons installed, making it user-friendly. Durability is also a significant advantage of the Hitachi whiteboards, as circuits are only located on the edge of the board, making it resistant to physical damage that would render most other boards unusable. The FX-79E2 is the most durable touch-sensitive model, eliminating the need for expensive electronic pens that can cost over $100. Instead, a passive stylus is included for those who prefer writing with a pen. Hitachi has also incorporated a faster response time, thanks to the latest technology, the Infrared Ray Shading Detection System, making for a smoother, more fluid multi-touch support than the previous generation Trioboard.
Finger-driven interactivity for your classroom or conference room:
The StarBoard FX-79E2 is an interactive whiteboard that is sensitive to finger touch and enables flexible collaboration, making it an ideal tool for learning and brainstorming sessions. With a large active area surface of 79", the board is durable and provides ample workspace for group work. The FX-79E2 has a steel surface and an improved bracket design that significantly reduces its weight, making it easy to mount on a wall for added convenience.
The Hitachi FX-79E2 interactive whiteboard offers the convenient "Dual-Pen" feature, allowing two users to work simultaneously on the entire board surface. With finger-driven features and multi-touch gesture capabilities, the FX-79E2 allows users to add class notes, sketches, and export notes to various file formats, while also supporting the import of Microsoft Office files. Post-lesson production is made simple with the board's direct access to the internet and variety of digital links, making it easy to save and distribute presentations or sessions by posting to a server, emailing, or printing. The FX-79E2 also supports a remote conferencing feature, which makes teaching and business activities more efficient by enabling dynamic and practical features for more productive lessons and conferences.
