Take Flight:

From top to bottom, the ROG Strix GeForce RTX™ 3080 Ti has been completely redesigned to harness the full power of NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture and deliver groundbreaking gaming performance. Its refreshed look features a stronger metal frame surrounding a trio of upgraded Axial-tech fans. The new design introduces an optimized fan rotation pattern and specialized roles for each fan. Beneath them lies a larger, high-capacity heatsink built to manage the most demanding thermal loads. Even the PCB and backplate have been fine-tuned for better performance. This is the ultimate evolution in graphics card engineering.

Axial-tech Upgrades:

The Axial-tech fan design has been refined for a bigger heatsink with increased fin density and surface area. The center fan now uses 13 blades, while the side fans have 11 blades each. The outer fans’ slimmed-down barrier rings improve lateral airflow, and the center fan’s full-height ring increases static pressure for more effective heat dissipation directly onto the heat spreader.

New Directions:

To maximize cooling efficiency, the center fan now spins in the opposite direction of the auxiliary fans, reducing internal air turbulence. When temperatures drop below 50°C and GPU load is light, the fans stop completely for silent operation.

MaxContact:

A precision-engineered heat spreader with an ultra-smooth surface ensures superior contact with the GPU die, significantly improving heat transfer efficiency.

2.9-slot Design:

Heatpipes distribute thermal energy through a dense fin array occupying a 2.9-slot design, offering ample headroom for the powerful RTX 3080 Ti chipset.

Premium Components:

High-quality capacitors, chokes, and MOSFETs—part of ASUS’s Super Alloy Power II lineup—are installed using Auto-Extreme technology for consistent, reliable performance and impeccable build quality.

Fresh Shroud:

The new shroud incorporates metal accents and a sleek greyscale palette, blending seamlessly into most builds or standing out in vertical setups with integrated RGB lighting.

It’s Cooler Out Back:

The redesigned backplate features a large vent and shorter PCB for improved heat exhaust. A metal GPU bracket enhances structural integrity, while the stainless steel I/O bracket ensures durability. The Dual BIOS switch allows quick toggling between performance and quiet modes.

Functional Front:

The front of the card includes customizable addressable RGB lighting that syncs with other ROG components via Armoury Crate. Power is supplied through three 8-pin connectors, with onboard monitoring to detect voltage drops—indicated by a red LED alert. A reinforced metal frame adds strength and stability.

GPU Tweak II:

ASUS GPU Tweak II software provides advanced tools for real-time tuning and monitoring of GPU core clock speeds, memory frequency, voltage, and fan control, enabling users to optimize performance with ease.
