The ROG Strix B850-I Gaming WiFi packs cutting-edge performance into a compact mini-ITX design. It offers PCIe® 5.0 slots for high-speed graphics and storage, dual-channel DDR5 memory support with speeds up to 8400+ MHz (overclocked), and a powerful power delivery system for demanding gaming and productivity tasks. It also features advanced thermal management and the latest WiFi 7 connectivity, making it ideal for next-generation AI-powered PCs.

Performance:

This motherboard comes with a ProCool power connector and supports AMD Socket AM5 for compatibility with AMD Ryzen™ 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series desktop processors. It features a high-current power system with 10+2+1 power stages rated at 90A each. It supports dual-channel DDR5 memory with speeds up to 8400+ MHz (overclocked) across two DIMM slots. For storage, it includes two PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots supporting 2242–2280 form factor SSDs for blazing-fast data transfer.

Cooling:

Thermal performance is optimized with a dedicated VRM cooling fan and a large VRM heatsink. The board also features M.2 and chipset heatsinks to prevent throttling under load. Additional cooling options include an AIO pump header, a 4-pin PWM fan header, and an extra flow fan header to improve internal airflow and system stability.

Gaming Immersion:

For immersive audio, the board includes the SupremeFX ALC4080 audio codec with a Savitech SV3H712 amplifier. It delivers high-quality 120 dB SNR stereo output and 110 dB SNR recording input, along with impedance detection and SupremeFX shielding to reduce noise. It also supports Dolby Atmos® for 3D surround sound. Two 3-pin addressable Gen 2 RGB headers allow for dynamic lighting customization.
