The Zebra ZT411 Barcode Label Printer offers various features for efficient printing and communication. It supports both thermal transfer and direct thermal printing methods and includes a thin film printhead with E3 Element Energy Equalizer, ensuring superior print quality. The printer has a 203 dpi print resolution and can achieve a print speed of up to 14 inches per second (356 mm/second).

In terms of communication, the Zebra ZT411 printer provides USB 2.0 and RS-232 Serial interfaces, allowing for high-speed connectivity and configurable settings such as baud rate, parity, and data bits. It also supports 10/100 Ethernet for internal network integration, enabling the use of Webview and Alert features. Additionally, Bluetooth 4.1 is available, including support for Apple devices. The printer includes dual USB Host ports as well.

Operating the ZT411 printer is made easy with its 4.3-inch color touch display, which provides an intuitive menu for quick operation and settings management. The printer also features bi-colored status LEDs for immediate printer status updates. It is equipped with an ARM Cortex A7 processor, 256 MB RAM memory (with 8 MB available for user), and 512 MB Flash memory (with 64 MB available for user). The printer supports the Print Touch application and is Link-OS enabled. It comes with an auto-switching 100-240V power supply and is ENERGY STAR qualified. Additionally, it has printhead element out detection functionality.

The Zebra ZT411 printer offers support for various types of media with its dual media sensors (transmissive and reflective) and a 3-inch media supply hanger. It features auto calibration when turned on or when the printhead is closed.

In terms of design, the ZT411 printer has an easy, side-loading metal print mechanism. The printhead and platen replacement can be done without tools. It has a metal media cover with an enlarged clear viewing window, and the user touch points are highlighted with gold, indicating key adjustments. The printer's bi-fold media door reduces the overall operating space by 35%.

Regarding firmware, the Zebra printer supports programming languages such as ZPL, ZPL II, and EPL, which can be selected through software or the front panel. It also offers XML-Enabled Printing, allowing for barcode label printing through XML communications, eliminating license fees and the need for printer server hardware while reducing customization and programming costs.
