Ideal for IPTV and multicast traffic, the DGS-1100-10/ME supports IGMP Snooping, ISM VLAN, MLD Snooping, and Limited IP Multicast. ISM VLAN enables multicast traffic to be transmitted in a dedicated VLAN, reducing duplicate traffic across customer VLANs. Limited IP Multicast lets admins control access to multicast groups, simplifying IPTV service management.

This smart switch includes essential security mechanisms such as Port Security, Static MAC address filtering, and 802.1X authentication. These tools restrict access to authorized devices and protect against MAC flooding attacks.
