Benq MW855UST+

3500lms WXGA Ultra short-throw Projector

Prepare for a state-of-the-art conference room with advanced features such as ultra short-throw ratio for flexible installation, DLP technology ensuring durable and high-quality image performance, and compatibility with PointWrite Interactive Solution for interactive presentations.

Customized to provide the best possible educational experience:

BenQ offers professional color-grading technology that can be customized to suit different types of teaching content. Infographic Mode is particularly useful for displaying infographics with detailed text and graphics, as it enhances color saturation and vividness beyond what's possible with Presentation Mode. Meanwhile, Vivid Mode is optimized to deliver exceptional color performance when showing videos or images.

Unwaveringly intense luminosity:

The MW855UST+ ensures flawless projection performance by delivering 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightness and a WXGA 1280x800 high resolution, resulting in crisp and clear images and text that are easily visible even in large, brightly lit classrooms. The high level of brightness allows the lights to remain on during lessons, while the wide-aspect high resolution improves readability, making it easier to present expanded content.

Teaching without hindrance or spatial limitations:

MW855UST+ provides a large display screen even in small spaces, thanks to its ultra-short throw ratio. This feature helps to eliminate any unwanted shadows and glare, enabling students and teachers to collaborate more effectively and without distractions in front of the board.

Bigger Images:

BenQ's line of education projectors provides a variety of resolutions and projected image sizes, catering to the diverse needs of different classrooms. With sharp image quality of up to 100 inches, our ultrashort throw education projectors offer greater versatility in the classroom while keeping costs down.

Ability to draw on any surface with multiple touchpoints using pens and multiple screens:

With PointWrite™ technology, there is no need for costly digital whiteboards or extra equipment as it can work on any flat surface. This innovation opens up numerous possibilities for interactive classrooms, making it easier to bring digital tools into the learning environment.

PointWrite™ projectors also offer multi-user functionality, and two of them can be used to double the projection surface. Additionally, with the QWrite* Whiteboard Mode, teachers can run different applications, view and annotate content on two screens.

It's worth noting that the QWrite™ Whiteboard Mode is a proprietary annotation software from BenQ that's fully compatible with the PointWrite™ module.

Capable of scaling and compatible with interactive modules:

The latest BenQ PointWrite™ interactive module PW30U has a modular design that provides schools with the flexibility of adding interactivity to classrooms as a future investment. With this module, students and teachers can work together in truly collaborative learning environments using intuitive templates and the QWrite™ software. Additionally, the module offers a one-time calibration and easy set-up driver installation for added convenience.

It's important to note that the PW30U module, along with PT20, is an optional add-on for the MW855UST+/ MH856UST+ projectors.

Easy and user-friendly installation process:

With PointWrite™ technology, calibration is automatic and settings are saved as soon as it's connected to a computer's USB port. Once connected, PointWrite™ is ready to use without any manual configuration or complex training for teachers. Moreover, the MW855UST projector's interactive sensor ensures accurate auto-calibration under any ambient lighting conditions.

Enable interaction on any type of surface:

MW855UST+ projectors enable teachers and students to have engaging and intuitive lessons by allowing them to mirror their own smart devices and computers to display documents, images, and videos. This feature promotes the free exchange of ideas and encourages collaborative teamwork.

It's worth noting that the MW855UST+ and MH856UST+ projectors are compatible with the QCast Mirror dongle, which is an optional add-on.

Compatibility with control systems:

MW855UST+ has broad compatibility with major projector control systems such as Crestron, AMX, PJ Link, and Extron* IP Link. This feature allows for network control through LAN, making it easy to integrate into existing educational network infrastructures. Additionally, the projector supports RS-232 for reliable long-distance installation up to 15 meters when LAN infrastructure is not available.

A centralized application for upgrades:

The M85+ BenQ projector's firmware can be upgraded centrally by administrators on the same local network through LAN. For more details about this tool, please contact BenQ service.

Control that is centralized using BenQ software:

The BenQ centralized control software is a powerful management tool designed for IT administrators/technicians that allows remote and centralized management of multiple digital projectors through a local network. This software provides several management capabilities, such as remote monitoring, control, and configuration of individual projectors or groups of projectors.

Lens Shift:

The lens shift feature of the projector provides additional flexibility to compensate for minor installation miscalculations. To adjust the projected image up or down by 2%, users simply need to adjust the switch. This feature is particularly useful for accommodating specific installation requirements.

Effortlessly adjust the display using digital shrink and shift:

The projector's digital image shrinking and shift feature enables installers to adjust the image size through the OSD menu. Additionally, installers can shift the image to align it precisely on the desired frame and space without physically reinstalling or adjusting the projector.

Corner Fit Correction:

The Corner Fit feature allows for individual adjustment of each corner of the projected image. This feature is particularly useful for achieving a perfect fit and alignment of the image in restricted or uneven spaces.

Simplified alignment for wall mounting:

Our ultrashort throw projector wall mount is designed for efficient and professional installation. It includes an installation chart and ruler to ensure perfect screen alignment and image position in the classroom. Additionally, a three-way adjustment knob located in front of the projector allows for clean installation and the achievement of absolutely square screens.

The anti-dust accumulation sensor prevents the buildup of dust:

The BenQ education projector incorporates color wheel sensors with an anti-dust accumulation feature, which prolongs the projector's optimal performance. Traditional sensors can accumulate dust, which blocks the IR signal and causes flickering, abnormal colors, or even shutdown. However, the anti-dust feature on BenQ projectors rejects dust, preventing these issues from occurring.

Enhanced lamp life and energy conservation:

The LampSave Mode of BenQ education projectors adjusts the lamp power dynamically based on the content level, resulting in fewer lamp replacements and lower maintenance costs. It helps save up to 70% of lamp power consumption and extends the projector lamp life by up to 50% compared to normal mode, resulting in an overall lower cost of ownership.

Unmatched Readability:

BenQ's education projectors use advanced DLP-optimized optical lens systems to offer precise readability and clear resolution for each sub-pixel, resulting in industry-leading high contrast.

Sustained visual quality:

BenQ education projectors are designed for industrial-grade durability and use DLP technology to maintain long-lasting picture quality by preventing color decay. Unlike non-DLP projectors, BenQ DLP education projectors remain like brand-new even after lamp replacement. The DLP chip has over two million micromirrors and generates minimal heat buildup, allowing it to endure over 100,000 hours without degradation.
