TAKE FLIGHT:

Top-down ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 Optimized to work with NVDIA shiny new Ampere chips and bring the next gaming performance to market. A new, more metallic design surrounds the area of Axial-Tech fans. The latest generation of integrated fan design has been replaced by a new distribution design with roles assigned to central and auxiliary fans. Underneath the vanes is a larger and more impressive heat load. The PCB has some new features, and even the backboard has undergone some performance improvements. You've been waiting for the latest and greatest GPU design - and here it is.

AXIAL-TECH UPGRADES:

Our Axial-Tech fan design is more suited to the new, larger temperature range than the previous generation. In all three fans, the number of tails increased to 13 for the center fan and 11 for the assistant. The wing ring on the side fans increases the side pull and allows better air flow in the cooling chamber. Additional center fan knives and full-length Anulus provide constant pressure to push air directly into the GPU temperature.

 Fans NEW DIRECTIONS:

To increase the special role of central and auxiliary fans, the central fan rotation direction is changed. This further reduces the air turbulence in the cooling coil to further improve overall heat performance. When the card power consumption is low and the GPU temperature drops below 50 ° C, the fans are completely turned off, which ensures a low noise level when the system is easily installed.

MAXCONTACT:

Special attention should be paid to the heating inside the die and heatsink to take advantage of the new fan design. A manufacturing process that polishes the surface of the heat sink is used to improve smoothness at a microscopic level. The extra flatness improves contact with the mold and improves heat transfer

2.9-SLOT DESIGN:

The heat spreader diverts heat to the heat pipe, which transfers heat through a stack of fins that fills a large area of 2.9 slots. The larger heatsink size compared to the previous generation provides more thermal headroom with the new high performance chipset.

FRESH SHROUD:

In addition to internal design changes, ROG Strix has a new look with metallic accents that reflect the design aesthetics of ROG and ROG STRIX motherboards.
