VIVOTEK FD6122V

Hello,

I use three Vivotek FD6122 cameras to monitor my home. I got a static IP address, forwarded the three ports and was able to monitor my home via internet. But after 1 year all three cameras had stopped working. I solved this problem by opened their casings and pushing the "reset to factory defaults" button. But 14 days later there was a power outage since then I have again the same problem.
Is there a way to ensure reliable working of my cameras? Maybe there is a setting that I don't know in the configuration page of the cameras?

My only recommendation I can give you to sort-of "prevent" your cameras from switching on & off during power outages is supplying them power from the same power source and having that power source on an inline UPS.
This will keep your cameras running even if your power goes down, and being an Inline and not an online-interactive UPS there will be no switching period which might cause a dip in voltage
