I have used this exact same model for about two years now and enjoy the ease of use. Scans nicely with our library barcodes and software. Ordered one more for another machine and this one came with a PS/2 connection instead of USB. Very disappointing. Specs do not state anywhere type of connection! Somewhat Misleading!

All the Metrologic scanners I have purchased have been very good, this one is no exception.
I like this unit because it plugs into a standard PS2 keyboard connection and is not USB connected. I find that the USB models can be effected by USB drivers not loading properly etc. while this is very rare, at a cashier station it can be very costly to have even the smallest breakdown.
